Columbia Mayor Chaz Molder launches 5th District congressional campaign
Columbia Mayor Chaz Molder launched his campaign as a Democrat to represent Tennessee’s Fifth Congressional District at Hattie Jane’s Creamery in Columbia on Thursday, Sept. 4, announcing his intention to unseat incumbent Republican Congressman Andy Ogles.
Before Molder spoke, his elder daughter Marley introduced him as the “next Congressman for the Fifth Congressional District.” He thanked his wife, parents, in-laws and children for their love and support, and welcomed all the attendees to his hometown.
