Cohen endorses candidates for redrawn congressional districts

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – U.S. Congressman Steve Cohen (D-Tenn.) is endorsing two candidates in the race for the newly drawn congressional districts in the Volunteer State.
Under the new map, Cohen represents District 5 instead of District 9. His endorsements Wednesday were for candidates in both districts.
Chaz Molder, the mayor of Columbia, Tennessee, is running for the new District 5 seat, which extends from South Memphis to Clarksville to Williamson County near Nashville.
