Molder Announces $786k Raised in 26 Days

90% of contributions from Tennesseans

COLUMBIA, TN: Candidate for U.S. Congress and Mayor of Columbia, Tennessee Chaz Molder announced a fundraising haul of more than $785,000 since launching his bid for Tennessee’s 5th Congressional District on September 4th.

“Over the first few weeks of our campaign, one thing has become clear: Middle Tennesseans are ready for new leadership that will focus on practical solutions over political rhetoric; and a congressman who will bring us together rather than tear us apart,” Mayor Molder said. “When we launched this campaign a few weeks ago, I could not have imagined the broad support we’d receive in our first 26 days; and it has provided me with a sense of energy to continue working as hard as I know how to send someone to Congress who wants to deliver on the issues that are important to all of us–lowering costs, retirement security, quality education for our children, and delivering affordable and accessible healthcare for all. I couldn’t be more grateful for the response we’ve received.”

Mayor Molder announced his campaign for Congress in Columbia in early September surrounded by friends, family, and supporters at a local small business, Hattie Jane’s Creamery. Molder has emphasized his experience in bringing together Tennesseans from all walks of life during his eight years as Mayor of Columbia.
