Chaz Molder For Congress Campaign Raises $500,000 in 24 Hours
COLUMBIA, TN: Today, the Chaz Molder for Congress campaign announced a fundraising haul of more than $500,000 dollars in the first 24 hours since Columbia Mayor Chaz Molder launched his bid for Tennessee’s 5th Congressional District.
“The outpouring of support from folks across Middle Tennessee has truly been humbling,” Mayor Molder said. “From Mt. Pleasant to Mt. Juliet, from Cornersville to Columbia, Green Hills to Spring Hill and everywhere in between, people in the 5th Congressional district are fired up about this campaign – and I couldn’t be more grateful. I’m in this race to win and I’m more confident than ever that together we can bring Main Street values to D.C.”
Mayor Molder announced his campaign for Congress yesterday surrounded by friends, family, and supporters at a local small business, Hattie Jane’s Creamery in Columbia, TN. Molder emphasized his experience in bringing together Tennesseans from all walks of life during his eight years as Mayor of Columbia.
Tennessee’s 5th Congressional District is being targeted by Democrats as a top flip-opportunity in 2026.
